Teen Acting
for Film & TV
A dynamic 9-week course designed for teens who want to explore screen acting.

Comedy
From zero to your first set -- no experience needed.
6 Weeks · Saturdays, 3:30pm – 5:00pm

A beginner-friendly course that introduces you to stand-up comedy in a relaxed, supportive environment. Explore joke-writing, stagecraft, and confidence-building exercises to find your own comedic voice.
- Learn joke structure: setups, punchlines, tags
- Stage presence, mic technique and body language
- Manage nerves and build confidence on stage
- Optional Graduation Showcase in final week

ABOUT US
Born in 2022 out of the Newcastle Comedy Club, our school began as a way for local comedians to expand their skillsets and share the joy of improv. What started as a creative outlet has since grown into a flourishing community, now offering classes for kids, teens, and adults of all ages.
OUR TUTORS
Eddy Rockefeller
A multi-talented stand‑up and musical comedian based in Newcastle, Eddy's been performing across the Hunter region and touring nationally. Known for her bold, irreverent style and raw stage presence, she builds live looping sets using violin, piano, guitar, trumpet, and vocals all spun from audience suggestions.
Liam Callen
A true local, Liam was born and raised in Newcastle and cut his teeth on the stand‑up and improv circuit . His comedy blends sardonic wit with frank storytelling and self‑deprecation. Over the past ten years, he's performed in Newcastle, Sydney, Adelaide and even at the Edinburgh Fringe. Liam's grounded style and comedic chops help students connect, improvise, and shine on stage.
